Gather upcoming events and school dates, add announcements, and copy a branded bulletin into your usual email. Send it to the school’s existing list.

Events & tickets

Create public events and set free or paid tickets in Givebutter. With the API connection enabled, new public events appear on the website automatically. Checkout always uses Givebutter’s current availability and prices.

Photos & website details

Give related events the same Workshop Series label, such as Sign making. Past pages automatically link to the next upcoming date in that series instead of the waitlist. New workshops link back to past photos. With no upcoming date, the waitlist returns if set.

Use Website Content for cover photos, galleries, waitlist links, descriptions, and previous events. Match the Givebutter Campaign ID to add details to an imported event. Uncheck Published to hide it.

For classes and workshops, set Audience to Kids, Adults, or All ages to control the event filters. Age ranges such as Ages 5–13 also work. All ages appears in both groups; unlabeled classes stay visible under Everything.

Volunteers & supplies

Keep using Events, Volunteer Shifts, and Supplies in your existing Airtable base. Add the Events record ID to the website’s Signup Event IDs field. Only linked, published events appear on the website. Shift and supply Notes are public instructions; keep personal information in the volunteer and contribution fields.

Dates & cancellations

Session Dates supplies the website schedule when filled in, including every class session. Leave it blank to use the Givebutter schedule. Enter one session per line with its timezone offset:

Add an optional end time after |. To cancel a session, add another | and a reason. Example: start time | end time | Canceled due to weather. A missing end time can be left blank.
